To make this Gilcée Reproduction I scanned my original linocut, created the border and added the text, making this too a unique work of art. A Giclée (pronounced Jee’clay, a French word meaning “to spray ink”) is a computer-generated reproduction with no visible dot pattern, so it looks nearly identical to the original. The printer used for this piece uses extremely high quality pigmented inks that have been tested to last over 200 years. This piece is available in an 8x10 or 11x14 framed or unframed. The framed 8x10 piece will be matted with a pistachio colored mat and framed in an 8X12 black metal frame. The 11x14 piece will be matted with a pistachio colored mat and framed in a 14x20 black metal frame. Framing may take additional time dependent on frames in stock.
